MIKE PINGEL

Mike Pingel heads up RainbowPR.  Pingel fell into PR after he created the website www.charliesangels.com in 1996.  He quickly need to learn how to deal with the media attention after Yahoo.com chose the website as the Site of The Day. He PR career became a job when he became the head of PR for Imagination International to headed  up the release of  the board game, BATTLE OF THE SEXES in the winter of 1999.   Creating press releases and target plan for Christmas 1999. Worked with over 200+ radio stations in the US for free giveaways of Battle of the Sexes board game. In 2000 Pingel took a Jr PR position at The Lee Solters Company where his first client was the Harlem Globetrotters.  Pingel went on to lead many very successful PR  clients including The Von Trapp Children, Race to Erase MS, Arthur: The Live Action Show, The Pat Boone Gold Label. 2005 he dove into the new world of Online Marketing with the here! Network.   In the new  expanding world of PR online he worked creating & maintaining My Space pages, Yahoo! Groups; contacting online websites to post banners, trailers, copy, and hosting giveaways.  While at here!, Pingel world on campaigns for Hellbent, Third Man Out, Dante’s Cove (first season), Margaret Cho: Assassin.  Pingel became a freelance publicist and worked on projects as Cars & Guitars (2001); APLA’s Summer Party (2001) and with Solters & Digney’s clients Alan Thick “How Men Have Babies” (2004/lead); Mr. Bojangels: The Sammy Davis Jr. Musical” (2004/lead); Alan Cohen’s “Why Your Life Sucks” book (lead); Universal Studios Hollywood “The Celebrity Etiquette Handbook” (lead) & “Spiderman Rocks” attraction; VitaMist (2005/lead); “I Gotta Go!” dvd (lead). In 2006, he became Farrah Fawcett’s personal assistant and publicist.  Pingel has been in the world of PR for over 17 years.  He has been so successful at PR because he enjoys his clients projects, believes in their vision and uses his expertise to bring media attention to their dreams.  Currently in 2016 Rainbow PR is proud to be working with The Life Group LA & Chico’s Angels with their 2016 campaigns.
